Our History

The Piano Studio’s founder and co-owner, Jeanne Fast, has drawn on her experience and expertise in both Retail and Education to bring The Piano Studio to Newmarket and the surrounding area. What began in September 1997 as a private home studio with 45 students has become The Piano Studio, boasting 2 locations with 25 classrooms and over 30 instructors on the Teaching Team.  The Piano Studio has been committed to teaching students of all ages and skill levels in a professional yet fun way.  We are proud of our teaching staff, whose experience and qualifications are among the best in the industry!  We have added Voice, Guitar, Violin, Drums, Harp and Music Theory lessons to our music school programs to provide an even richer musical experience for our students.  The Piano Studio showroom has also grown; we now offer the largest selection of upright, digital, grand and pre-owned pianos north of the the city.
