Piano Teachers
Anetta - Piano Teacher
Anetta is an RCM-trained Piano teacher with 25 years of experience teaching students of all ages. Motivated, reliable and dedicated, Anetta maintains strong relationships with her students and loves engaging with them in meaningful ways at the Piano.
Dina - Piano and Flute Teacher
Dina is an experienced teacher and performer, who has been a part of The Piano Studio teaching team for many years. Having first studied both Piano & Flute in Russia, Dina achieved a Masters Degree in performance and teaching. Since arriving in Canada many years ago, Dina also accomplished an ARCT with the RCM (for Flute). Alongside teaching, Dina enjoys playing her flute with the band “Queen’s Own Rifles of Canada” where they perform for parades, changes of command, and private concerts. Dina is kind, energetic and fun and we are thankful to have her on our team.
Eugenia - Piano Teacher
Eugenia is a skilled piano teacher with several years of teaching experience and an ARCT in Piano Performance from the RCM. Eugenia strives to foster a supportive and engaging learning environment with students, encouraging them to explore their musical potential while also instilling a solid foundation in technique and performance skills. Calm, patient and kind, Eugenia’s goal is to nurture proficient pianists and to cultivate lifelong music lovers!
Gasia- Piano Teacher
Gasia is a cheerful, outgoing teacher whose goal is to have students leave their Piano lessons smiling! Gasia provides students with the tools and confidence to realize their potential through clear communication and creativity. With a diploma in Music and many years of teaching experience, Gasia teaches in a friendly and encouraging manner.
Inga - Piano Teacher (and Voice)
Inga is described as a teacher who has enthusiasm, energy and a positive attitude – we agree! With a degree in Music Education, Inga is an RCM-trained Piano and Vocal instructor who also loves to perform. Inga is highly motivated to share her love of music with students of different ages and backgrounds; she has experience teaching children, and is also a Vocal Coach for adult singers in 2 vocal ensembles.
Jennifer - Piano Teacher
Jennifer is a cheerful, energetic Piano teacher who always has a smile on her face! Jennifer has a rich & diverse background, studying the RCM program and teaching Piano before pursuing a Law degree. Jennifer has shifted her focus from practicing Law now with a return to her first love – teaching! With experience with neurodiversity in children and a belief that music education should be available to all, Jennifer is great addition to our Teaching Team.
Jerry - Piano Teacher (and Guitar)
Jerry is a multi-talented musician and teacher. After studying both classical Piano and Guitar at a high level, Jerry went on to pursue a Bachelor of Music in Jazz studies, and then a Masters of Music in Jazz Composition. Among his many accomplishments, one of Jerry’s arrangements was recognized by the Downbeat Student Awards, Graduate category. Jerry has been a music educator for several years, and is described as compassionate, patient, and an excellent communicator.
Jonathan - Piano Teacher
Jonathan is a kind, attentive and compassionate Piano teacher with lots of experience and a heart for teaching. Jonathan taught with The Piano Studio several years ago before heading off to University. We are pleased to have him back on the team, having gained some new perspectives and experiences. With extensive RCM training, Jonathan understands that every student is unique and doesn’t always follow the same path.
Josephine - Piano Teacher
Josephine is a gentle, calm and patient Piano teacher with RCM training and a strong desire to see new Piano students become inspired and engaged. Described as “results oriented”, Josephine strives to teach each student with a unique and understanding approach. Students will appreciate Josephine’s kindness and attentiveness.
Lennox - Piano Teacher
Lennox is a Piano teacher who has a passion for both performing and educating. Lennox completed an undergraduate degree in Piano Performance in China, and then continued to pursue a Master of Music in Jazz studies at Temple University in Philadelphia. Described as being kind, conscientious, and effective communicator, Lennox believes in “creating a positive and engaging learning environment that fosters creativity and encourages students to explore their musical potential.”
Luda - Piano Teacher
After 14 years of teaching experience in Russia and Israel, Luda joined The Piano Studio’s Teaching Team and is now in her 17th year of teaching with us! Luda has an extensive musical background, including a specialization in Choral Conducting and a love of singing. Luda says “I am a teacher who loves to see the positive results from my hard work teaching. As a musician, I hope to see all of my students enjoy what they are learning with music.”
Maryam M.- Piano Teacher
Maryam is a kind and compassionate piano teacher with many years of teaching experience. Maryam studied Piano Performance at University in Iran; upon moving to Canada she then achieved a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music (with Distinction) at Concordia University in Montreal. Maryam is experienced teaching all ages and skill levels – regardless of age or skill, however, it is important to Maryam that her students enjoy their lessons and are inspired and motivated to improve their playing while also developing true enjoyment in music-making.
Maryam N.- Piano Teacher
Maryam is a positive and encouraging Piano teacher, with over 15 years of teaching experience. Having studied in Iran, Maryam enjoys playing and teaching Classical, Contemporary and Iranian music. Maryam is conscientious and hard-working, dedicated to helping students reach their goals with lessons tailored to each student’s age and learning style. Maryam has a smile for everyone and achieves great connection with her students.
Nicole - Piano Teacher (and Voice)
Nicole is a Piano & Voice teacher with diverse skills and a desire to adapt lessons to the specific needs of her students. Having achieved her ARCT in Piano performance and a Bachelor of Music from Humber College (Jazz Vocals), Nicole enjoys both preparing students for RCM exams and getting creative with contemporary music. Nicole describes herself as a teacher who is “caring, encouraging and adaptable” and we are grateful to have her on our team.
Niel - Piano Teacher
We are always pleased when our own students return to teach at The Piano Studio, and Niel is one such case. Niel LOVES to play the piano and enjoys sharing his passion for music with others through teaching and performing. He has a calm and friendly approach that helps put new students at ease. He holds his RCM 10 and is pursuing further RCM accreditation part-time.
Nina - Piano Teacher
The Piano Studio is happy to have Nina on our teaching team. A teacher with many years’ teaching experience, Nina is a graduate of York University’s Bachelor of Fine Arts program, specializing in Music and Visual Arts. Nina also achieved her ARCT with the Royal Conservatory of Music. Nina strives to create a fun, enriching environment in her classroom, where every student will feel comfortable asking questions and will reach their full potential.
Olga - Piano Teacher
Olga is an experienced Piano teacher whose energy, enthusiasm and smiles are infectious! Olga studied in Russia, first at a Pedagogical College and then at a prestigious Music Academy, and has been teaching ever since. In addition to teaching the RCM program, Olga enjoys exploring popular music selections with her students and encourages their creativity. Olga also loves teaching both group and private Theory & Harmony classes. She is a cheerful individual whose positivity makes her a pleasure to have around.
Pari - Piano Teacher
Pari is described as being an “enthusiastic and experienced music educator with a passion for fostering creativity and a love of music in students of all ages.” Kind and patient, Pari is currently studying Music (with a specialization in Composition) at the University of Toronto. Pari enjoys getting to know her students’ unique personalities and designing individualized lesson plans to cater to each one.
Piret - Piano Teacher
Piret joined The Piano Studio in January of 2003. Piret achieved her Music Teacher Diploma from the University of Tartu (in Estonia, Europe), and also holds a Teacher’s ARCT Diploma from the Royal Conservatory. Piret loves working with children of all ages and is proud of their accomplishments – and it shows! Piret has a unique gift of inspiring joy in her students when they are at their instrument. Always smiling, encouraging and pushing students to do their best, Piret is a born educator and we are grateful she is on our Team.
Raymond - Piano Teacher
Raymond has over 30 years of teaching experience and a strong commitment to The Piano Studio! He brings an infectious enthusiasm to his lessons, challenging students while keeping learning fun! To Raymond, the most enjoyable part of teaching is the moment when students understand and are able to accomplish a new skill.
Sabina - Piano Teacher (and Violin)
Sabina is accomplished, friendly, cheerful and teaches in a fun and engaging way. She has 15+ years of teaching experience and is comfortable teaching RCM as well as pop repertoire. Sabina attended the prestigious Berklee College of Music with a focus on Violin, Voice and Songwriting. She performs at weddings and other musical gigs. Music has been a big part of her life and her family since she was a child. She started learning the piano at age 3 and later developed her love and passion for the violin. Sabina loves connecting with her students to pass on her knowledge for musical and personal development. She also teaches kids and adults within the autism spectrum with extra patience and care.
Siamak - Piano Teacher (and Guitar & Ukulele)
An accomplished Piano & Guitar teacher, Siamak received his Bachelor of Arts in Classical Music (Piano) in Tehran. He also completed his ARCT in Classical Guitar, which he pursued after immigrating to Canada many years ago. Siamak has extensive teaching experience in both Piano & Guitar, teaching students from beginner to advanced and preparing them for RCM Exams. He also has a lot of fun teaching Ukulele! Siamak’s calm and gentle demeanor sets students at ease and his extensive skills and experience motivates them to do their best.
Tetyana - Piano Teacher
Tetyana is a classical pianist with over 25 years of teaching and performing experience. She describes herself as a “passionate educator” whose desire it is to help students achieve their goals in a consistent, friendly and music-loving atmosphere. Tetyana enjoys teaching students from beginner to advanced, welcoming each student with a warm, caring and encouraging personality.
Thomas - Piano Teacher
Thomas is a kind, calm and friendly teacher who is looking forward to the upcoming teaching year! Thomas has come up through the RCM program with great success and is really happy to be passing along his knowledge, skill, and appreciation for music with his students.
Tim - Piano Teacher (and Guitar, Bass Guitar & Drums)
Coming to us with over 5 years of music teaching experience, Tim has both a Certificate in Jazz Performance and a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Performance from Humber College. Tim is experienced in playing and teaching a multitude of instruments, and really enjoys connecting & engaging with his students.
Guitar Teachers
Eric - Guitar Teacher
Eric is a fun & charismatic Guitar teacher with a genuine heart for people. Eric holds a BA from Carleton University which includes a minor in Music. With many years of experience working with children, Eric is a clear and thoughtful communicator whose goal is to have students leaving their lessons with a smile.
Hayden - Guitar Teacher
A highly skilled player and avid performer, Hayden is also an experienced Guitar teacher who is described as having the great skill of “connecting with students so that playing and learning music is always a fun and joyful experience.” Personable and pleasant, Hayden’s students will enjoy his down-to-earth approach and genuine love for helping students find their unique voice.
Jerry - Guitar Teacher (and Piano)

Jonathan - Guitar Teacher
Jonathan is a talented musician and Guitar teacher with RCM training and several years of teaching experience. Engaging and hardworking, Jonathan enjoys getting to know what will keep students motivated and designs & executes lessons to maintain that motivation! Jonathan can teach many genres and styles.
Sebastian C. - Guitar Teacher
Sebastian is a patient, caring Guitar teacher with diverse musical talent and a real passion to work with young musicians. Described as empathetic, patient and fun, Sebastian finds meaningful ways to connect with his students to make lessons enjoyable for each individual student. Sebastian has a diploma in Music Industry Arts from Algonquin College.
Siamak - Guitar & Ukulele Teacher (and Piano)
An accomplished Piano & Guitar teacher, Siamak received his Bachelor of Arts in Classical Music (Piano) in Tehran. He also completed his ARCT in Classical Guitar, which he pursued after immigrating to Canada many years ago. Siamak has extensive teaching experience in both Piano & Guitar, teaching students from beginner to advanced and preparing them for RCM Exams. He also has a lot of fun teaching Ukulele; he teaches group programs in elementary schools and private lessons at The Piano Studio as well. Siamak’s calm and gentle demeanor sets students at ease and his extensive skills and experience motivates them to do their best.

Yiki - Guitar Teacher
Yiki is an accomplished Guitar teacher and performer who loves interacting with individual students to discover what makes them excited about learning Guitar. Yiki studied at Wilfred Laurier University, and also has Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music from York University. Yiki is able to teach all genres, and has a special interest in Jazz, Blues, and Fingerstyle.
Voice Teachers
Inga - Voice Teacher (and Piano)
Inga is described as a teacher who has enthusiasm, energy and a positive attitude – we agree! With a degree in Music Education, Inga is an RCM-trained Piano and Vocal instructor who also loves to perform. Inga is highly motivated to share her love of music with students of different ages and backgrounds; she has experience teaching children, and is also a Vocal Coach for an award-winning vocal ensemble for adult singers.
Jane - Voice Teacher
With over 25 years of teaching experience, Jane brings expertise and a cheerful, positive personality to The Piano Studio. Jane is RCM-trained in both Piano and Voice and holds both a Performer’s and Teacher’s ARCT with the RCM (Voice); she also has a Bachelor of Music degree in Voice/Music Education from the University of Toronto. While she is classically trained, Jane also enjoys both performing and teaching a variety of genres including Musical Theatre, Pop and “Campfire” tunes.

Drum Teachers
Dante - Drum Teacher
Dante is a kind and passionate Drum teacher, who works patiently and effectively to connect with students and help deepen their understanding and appreciation of the Drums. Having graduated from Trebas Institute with a diploma in Audio Engineering & Music Production, Dante is a skilled and well-rounded musician. In addition to teaching, Dante is also the Drummer for his band, which currently has a weekly residency.
Parsa - Drum Teacher
Parsa is a kind, thoughtful Drummer who is excited to work with young students getting started in Drum lessons. Parsa began his Drumming journey at The Piano Studio, taking lessons for many years, and we are thrilled that the student has now become the teacher! A skilled player and model student, Parsa will set his own students up to succeed.
