Group Music Programs
The Piano Studio offers fun group programs to supplement private music lessons.
Learning to play together with other musicians is an important skill that helps in overall musicianship. It is a lot of fun and a great way to motivate students to practice! A group music lesson class is also a great environment for learning RCM theory curriculum.
Glee Club
Glee Club is an fun opportunity for students to learn to sing with others! They will learn about singing on pitch, adding harmony, and will also put some actions to their songs. No vocal lesson experience is required.
JUNIOR MUSICIANS CLASS
A fun and engaging group music class for children ages 4-5. In the Junior Musicians program, our highly trained teachers introduce our youngest students to the joy of music using the “Music For Little Mozarts” curriculum.
ROCKBAND CLASS
Have you ever dreamed of playing or singing in a rock band? Now you can! Playing or singing together with others in a band is a lot of fun and will help take your musicianship to the next level! Join one of our bands with students of your same age and level.
STRING ENSEMBLE
Playing together with other musicians is a valuable skill and is a lot of fun! Learn to play together as a group, learning harmonies and different parts, and take your musicianship to the next level!
GUITAR ENSEMBLE
Learn to coordinate melody, harmony, phrasing, and dynamics with a group of acoustic guitar players, along with bass and percussion.
SONGWRITING CLASS
Learn how to write your own song – lyrics, melody, and chords, including musical notation – in a fun group class.
GROUP THEORY CLASSES
When students reach Level 5 and above with the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) program, a Theory Exam is required in addition to their Practical Exam to receive a certificate for completion of that level. We strongly encourage students to take theory classes to prepare for Theory Exams.
Our theory classes are scheduled based on demand, so please call us for more information and to register.
SUMMER MUSIC CAMP
A week of musical fun for kids ages 6-12. Camp activities include: Rock Band, Glee Club (singing & acting), music-focused workshops, crafts and games, end of week show for families. All led by teachers from our incredible teaching team!
