Rock Band Class
Join a Rockband!
Playing in a band gives students the valuable experience of playing with others. When students learn to play as part of a group, it gives them a completely different musical perspective. It is very rewarding and has so many benefits – it can improve listening and communication skills, provides more time on the instrument, students meet new people with common interests, and so much more!
About the program
The group will learn to play a variety of songs in different genres; performances at our Recitals will be a goal and we can also look for other performance opportunities outside of The Piano Studio if that is a desire of the group.
Students must have at least 2 years of playing experience and be aged 10-16. We looking for guitar, bass guitar, drum, piano, and vocal students. Students who do not take lessons with The Piano Studio may need to audition before joining a band.

Parent Testimonial
“My kids have been taking lessons (piano, guitar and guitar ensemble) for 6 years at The Piano Studio and we have nothing but good things to say. We appreciate the dedicated and caring teachers who have made music an essential part of our kids’ lives. We also appreciate the warm and welcoming atmosphere of The Piano Studio where I have made many friends among the parent community while waiting for my kids. There are so many little things that set your school apart from other places: from how much you care for every student’s unique needs, to various performance opportunities like the holiday and year-end recitals, and the band night at the local pub. I would also like to mention how much I like being included in your charitable endeavors. Our family is very fortunate to be a part of The Piano Studio community.”
