Private Music Lessons
The Piano Studio offers the highest quality private music lessons based on our belief that music is fun and can be learned and enjoyed by everyone. We are family owned and operated with studio locations in Newmarket and Aurora. Our private lesson programs include piano, guitar, drums, violin, voice, and more. We run a fixed, weekly schedule which means you will have a private music lesson once a week on the same day, at the same time, and with the same teacher each week. We offer 30 and 60 minute lessons, and typically recommend 30 minutes for beginners.

Are you available during the early afternoon? If so, you can save by booking in our off-peak times! This is a great option for seniors, retirees, or those with flexible work-from-home schedules.
To receive this discount you can enroll for weekly lessons and set up monthly pre-authorized payments, OR you can prepay for a package of 10 lessons and then book one at a time to suit your schedule.

Piano Lessons
Our piano lessons are second to none! Whether you want to learn to play classical, rock, pop, jazz, or anything in between, our teachers will design a piano program to help you reach your musical dreams.
Guitar Lessons
Our guitar lessons rock! We teach the fundamentals of music along with specific guitar techniques. We have teachers who can teach rock, blues, folk, finger-style, jazz, and classical (including RCM).
Drum Lessons
Do you have an aspiring drummer in your family? We can help turn that dream into reality with our outstanding drum program! We will teach you the fundamentals and rudiments of drumming and help you apply them to your favourite songs.
Violin Lessons
Our violin lesson program is comprehensive, rigorous, and a lot of fun! The violin is a beautiful instrument and we would love to help you learn to play.
Voice Lessons
Voice lessons have grown in popularity and our voice program is exceptional! Whether you would like to sing pop, rock, jazz, opera, classical, or musical theatre, our fantastic teachers can help you reach your goals.
ONLINE MUSIC LESSONS
The Piano Studio is pleased to offer online lessons for families who are looking to continue or start learning to play an instrument or sing from home. We offer the same high-quality private lesson programs as in our studios, from the same teachers, just delivered online via live videoconference.
Adult Music lessons
At The Piano Studio we have helped adults from age 20 to 88 achieve their dream of playing an instrument. If you have always wanted to play the piano, guitar, drums, violin, flute or improve your singing we can help, with a program designed for adult learners. We have options for a private one-on-lesson with curriculum specifically for adults so you can learn at your own pace, or enjoy learning socially together with other adult students in one of our group classes.
Six Lesson Trial Package
Try private music lessons before investing in an instrument.
This package includes six private music lessons and the loan of an instrument for the trial period. Should you choose to continue beyond the initial six lessons, you may keep the same day, time, and teacher. The Six Lesson Trial Package is available for Piano, Guitar, Drums, and Violin.
