Guitar Lessons
Our guitar lessons rock!
We teach the fundamentals of music along with specific guitar techniques. We have teachers who can teach rock, blues, folk, finger-style, jazz, and classical (including RCM) so no matter what your musical ambitions are, we can help you get there.
We teach both acoustic and electric guitar, steel string and nylon, plus bass guitar and ukulele. Our classrooms are equipped with amps so you only need to bring your guitar and music to your lesson.

Guitar sizes and rental program.
Guitars come in half, three-quarter, and full sizes which allows students as young as 6 years old to begin playing guitar. For students aged 4-5 we recommend completing our Junior Musicians Program before proceeding into private guitar lessons at age 6. Our rental program makes it easy to size up: just swap your rental guitar for the next size up any time.
How do private lessons work?
Fixed, weekly schedule
We run a fixed, weekly schedule which means you will have a private music lesson once a week on the same day, at the same time, and with the same teacher each week. We offer 30 and 60 minute lessons, and typically recommend 30 minutes for beginners.
Start anytime
You can begin private music lessons any time, and we just ask for two weeks notice to withdraw from the program. Our regular schedule runs from September-June, and we have a separate summer schedule for July-August.
Instrument for practicing
Students require an instrument to practice on at home in between lessons. If you don’t have an instrument, we offer a Six Lesson Trial Package which includes lessons and a rental instrument. We offer instruments for sale or rent after the trial, or anytime.
In-person or online
Lessons can be booked for in-person or online, and can be changed from one format to the other any time.
